Account Manager (Field based)
£40,000 + £5,000 car allowance + OTE £60k (uncapped commission)
My client is a Managed Service Provider of IT Solutions within the Education sector and due to further expansion they now require a Field Service Account Manager to join their team and work across the Midlands.
The ideal candidate will have a background working within a B2B environment- ideally within Education/Public Sector and have the tenacity to drive business and develop their accounts further.
The role will include.
- Provide strategic solutions for clients IT budget
- Developing Key Accounts
- Business Development
- Upselling/Cross-selling products
- Develop & manage sales pipeline to ensure targets are achieved on an annual basis
- Project Manager installations on site
- Put together tenders/proposals for prospective clients
The successful applicant will have a real flare for customer service and have strong negotiation skills- ideally with experience working for a Managed Service Provider or IT Reseller.
The key part of this role is understanding the client's needs & delivering on these. The role is a field-based opportunity so would suit somebody who is flexible with regards to travel and requires a full UK driving license.
The company offer a competitive basic salary in region of £40,000, uncapped commission (OTE- £20k), pension, progression & development opportunity and generous holiday allowance.
