Are you an Accounts Junior, Trainee Accountant or Accounts Assistant, currently studying the AAT with at least 12 months experience in an accountancy firm, looking to upgrade to a modern and entrepreneurial West End practice based in an easily accessible location? Are you looking to work for a niche firm which is one of the main firms in London and internationally that works with A list celebrities, including very high profile music, media, sport, entertainment, fashion, film & TV clients? Are you looking for a role which will start being VAT and bookkeeping based, but will quickly progress so you can gain exposure to Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax returns and advisory projects? If so, this growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit an AAT studier with at least 12 months practical work experience due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients. Your role will be varied and will include various bookkeeping assignments, the preparation of VAT returns and liaising with high profile clients. You will very quickly be trained so you can start to prepare statutory accounts, tax returns and other areas of accountancy such as management accounts, various reports, analysis and business management assignments. The firm uses cloud based software such as Xero, Quickbooks Online and Sage One. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. No experience of the client base is necessary although a strong interest in working with creative and media clients is essential as your client base will be 100% in this area. The firm offer hybrid working and allow staff to work two days a week from home as well as offer flexibility when you start / finish work.

To be considered for this new role (September 2022) you will be studying the AAT and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly VAT returns and bookkeeping. Experience of accounts preparation and tax work would be an advantage but not essential. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a larger firm or you will already be working for a large practice and are looking to work in a more friendly firm with a better work life balance and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of cloud based software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. You must now be looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern niche West End based accountancy firm which is one of the main firms in London and internationally which works with very high profile media, entertainment, sport, music, fashion, film & TV clients.
