Collections Advisor Lamport NN6 8.30am 5pm with 1 hour lunch Monday - Friday Salary negotiable depending on experience and skills Our client provides a Field Agent service to over 100 clients across the financial and insurance sectors assisting them in contacting their customers. As a Collections Adviser, you will join a small, friendly Capital Recoveries team. You will have prior experience within a clerical role with accurate data input skills and be dynamic, a quick learner and self-motivated. Based in Lamport (situated between Market Harborough and Northampton) the offices are situated in a lovely rural setting with views over the valley. However, due to the location, your own transport is essential. This is an office based role, however please note that hybrid working may be possible on successful completion of training and probationary period. What can you expect in return? Excellent attention to detail Confident and professional communication skills, particularly when dealing with telephone enquiries, sympathetic approach to vulnerable persons Prior experience in a clerical role within a busy office with a high turnover of work Ability to deal with changing requirements quickly and efficiently Strong IT proficiency; confident using Microsoft Office What will your role as a Collections Advisor look like? To administer trace instructions in accord with company policy and process To agree on payment solutions that are affordable to the customer and acceptable to our clients To handle inbound communication including letters, emails, and SMS from customers and Debt Management Companies To handle inbound telephone calls and make outbound telephone calls to ensure client and regulatory obligations are met To update our online portal accurately to reflect the content of calls and letters and ensure no customer detriment Adhering to company processes, procedures and compliance standards in line with an FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) environment What s next?
