  • Reporting to the Manager
  • Responsible for liaising with clients regarding overdue invoices
  • Chasing invoices via telephone and letter up to legal action where necessary
  • Update the in-house database
  • Maintaining accurate records of correspondence with clients
  • Weekly/monthly cash collection forecasting
  • Work closely with the team, maintaining and developing good working relationships in order to resolve customer queries
  • Responsible for managing and prioritising your own workload, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times and working to strict deadlines.
  • Creating daily sales invoices
  • Responding to incoming emails
  • Sending copy invoices
  • Opening new accounts
  • Answering the telephone in a professional manner and dealing with queries where possible
  • Updating the database from information received and making amendments
  • Any other duties required by senior management
  • Ensuring that company policies are adhered to at all times


  • As the ideal candidate, you will have previous credit control or accounts experience

  • Someone with a good sense of humour
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Someone who enjoys working within a busy team environment
  • Accuracy and a good eye for detail
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills
  • Can work on their initiative
  • Computer Literate with knowledge of MS Office
  • Professional and able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Organise, self-motivated but can also work as part of a team
  • Able to effectively work with clients to ensure bills are paid on time, and any queries resolved
  • Able to effectively work with both colleagues and owners of the business to provide updates and assist with client communications
  • Able to handle stress and pressure and remain calm, when dealing with difficult situations
