Customer Service Administrator

Time Appointments are happy to be working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing and distribution company based on the outskirts of Ipswich. They are looking to recruit a driven and customer focused individual to join their team.

The focus of this role is to be the first point of contact for their existing customers who require their product serviced within their warranty time frame. You will also be involved in ensuring that all work is allocated to engineers and completed in the given time scales.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with existing customers via telephone, email or in person.
  • Establish whether work falls within the parameters of customer's warranty.
  • Logging information on in-house systems
  • Ensure the correct parts are ordered where necessary.
  • Booking appointments for repairs to be carried out
  • Maintaining day to day contact with the Engineers to ensure customers are informed of any potential delay.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Able to solve problems quickly and methodically
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to multitask and work off your own initiative
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft packages
