Digital Project Manager - Portfolio Construction transformation

The Digital Client Experience team drives the "change the bank" agenda through the evolution of Lombard Odier's operating model (across people, processes and technology) to enable our growth strategy.

Within that team, a group of experienced Digital Project Managers focuses on the transformation requirements of our Investment tools, working very closely with bankers, investment specialists and top management - as well as directly with private clients whenever relevant.

The successful candidate as Portfolio Construction Project Manager will be located within the COO's Strategic Growth department of the Private Client unit and be responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring the end-to-end user journeys of the construction of portfolios, defined by Lombard Odier's digital roadmap.

Very "hands-on" in the daily project activities, he/she will also strongly collaborate with other transformation leaders, such as Client Relationship Management (CRM) and MyLO (our online platform), as well as with the Bank's specialists from other units: Technology & Operations, Legal, Risks, Compliance, etc.

Finally, he/she should have the ability to anticipate project issues and recommend mitigating actions, as well as to provide regular executive reports covering project status, risk factors and financials.

YOUR MISSION:

  • Lead our Portfolio Construction transformation in the context of broader end-to-end user journeys, involving the synchronization with other tools such as CRM, MyLO, etc. and change management activities.

  • Determine functional requirements, time frames, funding, process changes and training needs to deliver the strategic roadmap in an agile and continuous impactful mode.

  • Engage with all relevant specialists across functions and departments to continue strengthening the great team spirit and collaboration mode we need to succeed on such complex projects.

  • Maintain project governance and communication including executive level reporting to fulfil stakeholder requirements on progress against key criteria such as cost, schedule, resource utilization, change control, risks and benefits.

  • YOUR PROFILE:

  • More than 7 years relevant work experience in a project management role, with leadership experience and a strong knowledge of private banking processes (e.g. portfolio construction and optimizer), products (including private assets) and technology (PMS, Advisory and other investment tools).

  • A proven self-starter: able to operate and prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment - with limited oversight, strong ownership of work and true collaboration mindset.

  • Established background in launching digital services with a customer-first focus and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development and understanding of Agile principles.

  • Can achieve results by building consensus across organizational and functional lines and in managing stakeholders in a matrix environment; proven ability to chair executive meetings with clear agenda and documented outputs.

  • Good team player with a strong willingness to learn, participate and help others to change and succeed.

  • Fluent in English and French; excellent communication (written and verbal), networking and presentation skills.

  • Resident in Switzerland or willingness to re-locate.
