Fundraising Manager Location: Watford Contract Type: Permanent Contract Time: Full Time Salary: £36,293 Per Annum Expiry Date: Sun, 18 Sept 2022 Are you a fundraising professional with great relationship-building skills and an excellent track record? Do you want to widen your fundraising skillset and elicit real change? If so, the opportunity to join a newly-formed Fundraising, Marketing & Communications team could be the perfect opportunity. While the YMCA federation is world-renowned, as a large regional charity we operate with local autonomy. As a result, your role will be pivotal to our fundraising success and will be an impressive addition to your CV. As our Fundraising Manager (known internally as "Fundraising Lead"), you'll have real potential for further career development, covering trusts, grants, individual giving and corporate partnerships. Location: We offer the benefits of hybrid working. You can work from home when you need, but this isn't an isolated role. You'll be required to travel frequently across Herts, Beds & Bucks, working with colleagues across our sites. You'll need access to your own vehicle - we'll repay mileage incurred for work duties. About you: You'll be an inspirational and committed fundraising professional, ready to take us forward on this exciting journey, and unafraid to innovate and pioneer. The fundraising and donor engagement function will be broad, interfacing with all One YMCA s services. We are aiming to double our impact by 2025 - what we call our "Mission 25" project - and you will be an important enabler of this. We are open to sector, so if you don't have exposure to charity and not-for-profit, don't be discouraged from applying. It's very important to us that you can lead and motivate a small team (we'll give you lots of support if you haven't managed several people!), helping them to continue their professional development. You'll bring an excellent track record in developing and achieving fundraising targets and strategies, and cultivation and stewardship, including: Donor relations and engagement (communities, individual giving and groups; gifts; legacies) Digital Fundraising Bid writing for funds from grant-making trusts Corporate partnerships and sponsorship Individual giving, donations and event fundraising Cause-related funding appeals / campaigns, encouraging people to donate Direct marketing and Fundraising through storytelling Regardless of your previous experience - corporate / private, non-profit, Third Sector or elsewhere; executive, manager, lead - you will have the opportunity to evolve professionally and develop your skills into new areas of fundraising and donor engagement as we progress and establish the service.
