Platform Resourcing are currently working in partnership with a sourcing and distribution business based in Nelson, Caerphilly. This business is seeking a Graduate Administrator join their growing team. This is a family run business, with a real close knit and supportive team who will provide full training, and opportunities to study towards qualifications to help support you in your role. As a graduate administrator, you will have responsibility of researching products, retrieving quotes and discussing these with customers to be able to place orders. This is a great opportunity in the purchasing team to kick start your career and be trained in purchasing, customer service, deliveries and export! Benefits of the Graduate Administrator position: Salary of up to £21,000 based on national living wage and experience Monday to Friday hours: 9am - 5pm with a 30 minute lunch and 4pm finish on Fridays Company performance related bonuses 28 days holiday inc Christmas shut down which increase after 5 years Permanent, stable role within a growing organisation during an exciting period of growth Company Events Free Parking Ongoing training opportunities for industry recognised qualifications Duties and Responsibilities Answer and respond to enquiries from customers in a polite, professional and timely manner Complete research into various products and prices for customers Provide accurate quotes to customers regarding their products Place orders with suppliers Work closely with the dispatch team to ensure that all deliveries are correct and arrive in a timely manner Regularly liaise with customers providing daily and weekly updates and reports regarding their orders and products Completing various administrative tasks, including filing, typing, reporting and keeping all databases up to date Essential Experience for the Graduate Administration position Whilst having previous experience within administration or purchasing would be beneficial, it is not essential - you will need a positive attitude and the drive to learn and develop. You will also be: Passionate about providing excellent customer service to all customers. Organised and able to manage your time and workload effectively Excellent at communicating with people on all levels, with good written and IT Skills.
