Office based role in Bury - Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (35 hours p/w) Salary up to £29,000 depending on experience and qualification level Onsite parking, CIPD study support and other excellent benefitsYou will provide full support to the HR Manager in the daily administration of the HR departments' activities and assist in the smooth running of the department liaising with all levels across the business.Key Responsibilities include: Assist with the recruitment process including supporting Managers in establishing selection criteria, writing job descriptions, interviewing, drafting new starter offer packs Maintain employee records via the HR and Time & Attendance system and electronic filing system Liaise with Payroll on pay and sickness queries Process leavers, carry out exit interviews and reply to reference requests Assist with coordinating HR events, meetings and employee communications Advise Managers and employees on Terms and Conditions of employment and benefits Assist with the review HR policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date and comply with current legislation Participate in meetings and ensure notes are taken accurately Participate in ad hoc projects as required Assist department Managers to arrange appropriate training Assist line Managers following identification of any issues Maintain relevant statistical information and provide management information on a regular basis, including a monthly report to the senior team in line with the agreed format Co-ordinate benefit joiner process Ensure cultural surveys, team briefs, one to ones etc are completed as agreed Assist with arranging routine welfare screening each month and appointments as required General HR administration duties Maintain technical and legal knowledge and keep up to date with employment law and best practice within the HR profession Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and external contactsRequired experience: You must have experience in a similar HR based role Ideally CIPD qualified at least level 3 - this would be highly advantageous (full study support is available for continuation of studies) Strong communication skills at all levels Experience of HR based IT systems - Time & Attendance etc You must be a car owner / driver as the role requires travel between different local offices You must have experience in a similar role within HR to be considered for the role To apply for this role, please send your CV to
