Elevation Accountancy and Finance are currently working on a great opportunity, for a knowledgeable and confident Purchase Ledger Clerk, to join a reputable business, based in the HeckmondWike area on a temporary basis.Working within a busy Finance function and reporting to the Financial Controller, your role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of expense transactions and in doing so adhering to company policy and controls. This is a great opportunity for an out of work Purchase Ledger professional looking for some temporary employment. Duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk include:- Complete PO spreadsheet & process internal requisitions- Email PO to supplier (cc requisitioner)- Check delivery notes to items received also to FMS PO- Arrange distribution to requisitioner- Match processed orders with purchase ledger invoices and delivery notes- Process purchase ledger invoices (order & non-order)- Raise payments for purchase ledger invoices- Email payment remittance advice notes to suppliers- Process other bank statement supplier payments, i.e. direct debits- Review FMS PO report - chase outstanding orders with suppliers- Review supplier statements -chase invoices and credit notes/query errors - Query undelivered items/returnsRole requirements include:- Previous experience working as an Accounts Payable Clerk - IT Literacy, proficient in Excel spreadsheet applications and WordIf you feel that you have the relevant skills to be considered for this position, please contact Matt Goddard at Elevation!
