Your key responsibilities as the Purchasing Business Partner will consist of:- Provide a commercial point of contact for Sales and Operations to support best practice and identify commercial supply chain opportunities; - Finding commercial opportunities for each part of the business (via excel, Power BI and recommendation document / presentations)- Work with the business to ensure maximum benefits are delivered- Reporting on purchasing improvement per sector / sites- Influencing the operation team to adapt their purchasing to improve commerciality- Attend operational meetings to support best practice solutions and develop appropriate business relationships- Attend client meetings to present the purchasing case where required- Create and communicate appropriate management information to allow the business to better understand their supply chain and improve their performance- Support the business by ensuring requirements are reflected in the controlled product ranges available via P2P or other available systems- To actively take part in the range control management of the different business product ranges- Support with relevant business strategic projects as required- Helping the business resolve supply chain issues- Provide proactive support to the business
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Purchasing Business Partner include:- Previous experience of working with/in operations, ideally for 2 years plus- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong influencing ability- Great analytical skills and finance background- IT system aptitude, including intermediate to advanced Excel- Ability to prioritise workload- A strong team player with a flexible approach to work- Proven experience of using own initiative- Warm, friendly and genuine
As part of your package, we are offering a salary up to £50,000 per annum plus a performance-related bonus and lunch allowanceThis role also comes with company pension scheme, life insurance (x4), 31 days holiday - pro-rata (including Bank Holidays) - Inc to 33 after 2 completed years' service.
