Quality and compliance Engineer Location: Maldon Salary: £Depending on experience Hours: 40hrs per week Mon - Fri Benefits: Free Parking, Excellent Pension, 25 days plus bank holidays, discretionary bonus scheme. Adecco are excited to be working with a fantastic client based in Maldon who are looking for a Quality and compliance Engineer to join the growing team. The Quality and Compliance Engineer works proactively and strategically to ensure that the systems and processes are in place to manufacture quality products and provide a quality service to customers, using an analytical approach. You will be responsible to ensure that the manufacturing team is equipped to test and react to test results appropriately ensuring that product quality remains in specification and meets the required legislative and customer specified standards. Key Responsibilities: Continuously Improve Delivery and Cost and delivers focused Improvement projects to enhance the performance in these areas. Responsible for the training, promotion, and application of various quality management tools. Identify trends in customer concerns & production data and is responsible for ensuring fast and effective root cause analysis and implementing robust corrective & preventive actions. Monitors test results, analysing for trends, to proactively avoid issues before they occur. Provides mentoring, coaching, and guidance stimulating personal ownership of improvements and quality standards, and improved levels of performance. Aids with the transfer of new products into production, ensuring good manufacturing practices are implemented, and appropriate quality standards are considered at inception. Responsible for ensuring that the business and all products comply with the appropriate legislative standards and develops and delivers plans to ensure compliance is maintained. Ensures that the Quality and Compliance standards are clearly communicated and understood throughout the organisation to stimulate personal ownership and is the point of contact for legislative queries.. Responsible for re-designing processes and procedures to achieve improved quality of deliverables. Designs solutions for quality improvement using existing and new quality management methods. Is responsible for the upkeep of the Business Management System and contributes towards accreditations to the 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards including collation of Management Review information. Assist in the resolution of issues using a structured approach and analytical toolset to give a consistent and robust result. Requirements: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (desirable) ISO9001 auditing Quality Management methods Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt or other Quality Management methods preferred NEBOSH General Certificate is desired but not essential. 3-5+ years of professional experience Experienced with ISO9001 procedures and processes Experience of CE regulations Understanding of Quality and Manufacturing Best Practices Practical use of FMEA, control plans and SPC Experience in a safety role in a manufacturing environment Experienced with ISO14001 & 45001 (Desirable) Can demonstrate process improvementsAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
