Schedule: 2nd Shift M-F 2:30-11pm with unpaid 30 minute break
Location: South Milwaukee, WI 53172
Individual will be doing inspections on gear measurement machine. Individual will also be on shop floor and in an office setting. 2:30PM-11:00PM Monday -Friday shift with unpaid 30 minute break.
High school diploma or GED 2+ years experience with gear checking/measurements, operating/programming Gear measuring machine (GMM) Preferably Gleason 3000 or equivalent required.
2-4 years experience. Must be able to perform inspections utilizing coordinate measuring technology, including programming and operating a Gleason 3000 gear measurement machine (GMM) or equivalent.
Must interpret results, create and read K-Charts, and provide recommendations to Operations, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering if non-conforming.
Must possess strong knowledge with GD&T and Blueprint reading.
Prefer candidates with at least basic knowledge of SAP/ERP systems, as well as documentation and follow up of non-conformities.
Independent self-starter capable of working with little supervision and capacity to communicate turnover, problems, and priorities through e mail to the team.
