POSITION SUMMARY

Provide Legacy Vacation Resorts and its shareholders with the highest standard of Organized Risk Analysis assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Claim management, organizing and maintaining all team members Workers Comp, and Guest Incidents files for easy access.
  • Daily follow up on any documents needed, missing on both W.C and property incident files.
  • Prepare and execute correspondence emails to insurance companies, and respective Attorneys.
  • Secures, controls and audits all loss and Found valuables collected from the Security Manager.
  • Do quality audits on W.C and Property liability claims files, reporting any challenges and obstacles every 2nd Friday with a monthly final written overview the last Friday of each month to the Director or Risk Management.
  • Works closely with Resort/Security Management on any follow up or documents needed on incidents.
  • Watch for trends in either resort W.C or guest incidents.
  • Regularly prepares and analyzes trending, ad hoc, & specialty reports as needed (i.e. OSHA reports)
  • Assist the Director of Risk Management developing Risk audits drafts including to the final report.
  • Prepare and complete audits based on Legacy Vacation Resorts standards.
  • Risk Management Training program ensuring training is being conducted in a timely manner
  • Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed to allow the Risk Department operate efficiently.

Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: B.A in Risk Management or Business strongly preferred, or a combination of training and experience

Experience. 2-5 Years in Risk Management Field or relevant field experience

Computer Skills: Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft, Excel, Spreadsheets

Certificates & Licenses: N/A

Other Requirements: Be able to perform at a high level, putting together Audit reports. Willingness to work outside of regular business hours as required which can include evenings, weekends and holidays as schedules are determined based on the needs of the business.
