Job Title: Senior Developer C# .Net - Fully Remote Working Location: Fully remote Salary: Up to £50k Our client, a FTSE 100 listed company based in Newcastle, have been designing and manufacturing life-saving products for 20 years, protecting iconic buildings across the globe and the people within. Due to continued growth across the business a need has arisen for a Senior Developer to join the Digital Team, fully support the Technical Architect in really understanding the architecture and to challenge the software development of internal and external platforms. This critical position will respond to client requests in a timely manner and ultimately help ensure that they retain their new customer base. This person will also support junior developers with pair programming and knowledge sharing, directly contributing to the overall productivity and development of the team. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and test software Build new software using best practices and high-quality standards Actively develop software for internal platforms Provide estimates for development tasks and negotiate timelines with the digital team Document and communicate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders Participate in definition of coding standards and apply them in code and design reviews Mentor junior team members and help them acquire critical skills and best practices About you: 5 years' experience designing and developing new or maintaining existing software applications in a software product development environment Proficient in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework Practical experience with Angular, TypeScript Practical experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, Micro services, SaaS and Agile methodologies Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, Microsoft Azure, exposure to Azure DevOps preferable Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to help others and take action Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Benefits: Fully remote Competitive salary Enhanced pension Share options 25 days holiday, etc If you think you'd be a great fit for this role, click "apply" and we'll get things rolling.
