CompCare specialise in outsourced air, oil free and large compressed air systems for clients across a wide range of industries. We are market leaders in variable speed drive (VSD) conversions or retrofits, heat recovery packages and multi station control systems. We look after all aspects of your compressed air system from design, supply, installation, service and repair.

We are now looking to recruit a Service Coordinator to be based at our head office in Craven Arms Shropshire. You will be responsible for coordinating the field-based engineers working with customers and organising service engineers' visits

1. Using and managing our service management software to schedule work

2. Checking upcoming scheduled service work orders for parts and status & notes for engineers

3. Passing next months work orders to Stores for parts allocation

4. Getting quotes for and ordering parts for service and remedial work

5. Schedule work orders once parts are received and coordinating with customer site contact

6. Managing breakdown calls coming into the office, advising solution or agree a site visit

7. Creating & scheduling work orders for breakdowns, whilst ensuring service work is not backed up

8. Adding new parts to inventory, including supplier part no's

9. Assigning parts to appropriate serial number machines

10. Supporting engineers while they are out on site

11. Resolving any issues arising on site & agree solution with customer

12. Ensure engineers continue a professional level of service and conduct on site

13. Authorise absences in conjunction with Branch Manager

14. Ensure engineers complete site inductions in a timely manner

15. Provide Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH info to customers

16. Prepare and send quotes for chargeable work (non-contract, repairs, ad hoc work etc)

17. Follow up quotes to obtain customer PO numbers

18. Update invoicing sheet with order details from these PO's

19. Managing project timelines

20. Managing overtime allocations

21. Managing call out rota

You need to be a self motivated proactive person, with strong diagnostic and communication skills, both with the team and customers. You must be competent with MS Office and Excel in particular. Experience of compressed air systems would be an advantage, but training can be provided, you will need to have a full clean driving license. The competitive employment package will be dependent on experience, qualifications and references.
