The Role at a Glance:

As a Sr. Analyst, Data Analytics, you will analyze and deliver on complex data analytics assignments/projects for Life Solutions. In this role, you will work with business partners to gather requirements, build dashboards, and perform complex data analysis to derive insights that will enhance business decisions. Additionally, you will serve in a high-profile role guiding users growth in both self-service environments and purpose-driven dashboard design.

What you'll be doing:

Collaborating with business partners and the broader analytics organization (Advanced Analytics, Business Reporting, Data Governance) to lead value-driven data insights aligned with the firms strategic priorities.

Data sourcing, designing, building, testing, maintaining, and guiding others in creating stable and scalable dashboards, reports, and complex metrics to meet business needs by transforming data into meaningful information.

Identifying and analyzing complex developments, variances, and trends in financial and business operations.

Formulates and communicates recommendations to support business initiatives and management decisions.

Educating and mentoring both team members and business partners on Business Intelligence concepts and best practices.

Maintaining an understanding of how the data contained in various systems are utilized, and marrying various aspects of the data into a usable format to support decision making.

Ensuring data integrity within dashboards and reports and developing procedures for increasing the quality and accuracy of information from multiple data sources.

Communicating regularly with team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and champion business analytics.

Carrying out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complying with all company and site policies and procedures.

Remaining current in profession and industry trends.

Making a positive contribution as demonstrated by: - Making suggestions for improvement - Learning new skills, procedures and processes

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

5 7+ Years of data analytics and/or reporting experience that directly aligns with the responsibilities of this position.

4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)

Expert in developing dashboards in Tableau and the ability to pull data into Tableau.

Advanced business analysis skills and demonstrated experience in the use of data and its transformation into information.

Ability to work with and rationalize variable data from multiple systems, including both relational databases and data warehouses, and generate competitive intelligence and knowledge for decision making.

Ability to analyze complex information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.

Ability to query data using SQL, R, Python or other query languages.

Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances.

Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions/presentations.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.

Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.
