POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Training and Development Specialist will support Lozier s Learning & Development training programs by designing, delivering & facilitating engaging, outcome-based leadership development experiences for all levels of people leaders with the goal of improving individual, team and organizational performance. This dynamic professional is responsible for partnering with HR and senior leaders to support the growth and progressive contributions of our leadership team to develop capabilities needed for future success and to shape the firms leadership development processes. The Senior Training & Development Specialist will evaluate data with a focus on continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Lives Lozier s Core Values in support of Lozier s Mission and Vision.
  • Strong background in creating and delivering leadership development content and experiences to better enable the firms leadership pipeline.
  • Strong facilitation skills; able to be highly effective with varied teams, new people leaders, senior leaders, large groups or one-on-one coaching, whether in-person or virtual.
  • Experience with all aspects of adult learning from content creation to delivering quality training material, using multiple delivery modes (in-person, virtual, online, etc.), varied instructional techniques and exercises, and addressing diverse learning needs using valid research.
  • Coach leaders at all levels to develop their individual capabilities and help address inter-personal and team challenges.
  • Partner with SMEs, leaders and stakeholders to identify current challenges, learning needs and desired outcomes to determine the best learning solution for each challenge.
  • Track and analyze training metrics including employee participation and completion data, surveys, etc., and use the data to assess impact of learning experiences, direct improvements of existing content and determine additional learning needs.
  • Develop and/or m aintain knowledge of latest industry tools and processes.
  • Strong Human Resource background.
  • Curious with focus on customer service.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor s degreein Leadership Development, Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of learning & development, organization development, instructional design and delivery, or HR Business Partner experience with a focus on leadership, coaching, leading change, relationship management, and soft skills. Minimum of 3 years facilitating programs and projects. Minimum of 2 years partnering with leaders to understand business needs and develop custom, impactful solutions. Minimum of 2 years coaching and mentoring others.

Required Skills:
  • Solid background in leadership development
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience coaching people leaders
  • Strong project management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with close attention to detail
  • Team oriented and collaborative
  • Experience with ADKAR or other change management tools
  • Experience with DiSC or other assessment tools
SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • Occasional time spent walking, this includes time spent in a manufacturing environment which may involve navigating stairs
  • Periodic travel required by automobile or air, including overnight stays, to attend training or provide support at other company locations.
  • Must maintain a valid driver s license.
  • Occasional time spent working a flexible schedule.
