Visiting Teacher – Furniture Restoration

Merton College are now looking to appoint Visiting Teachers to teach adult learners across different levels to ensure they achieve success in their Furniture Restoration course. You ll deliver varied and effective teaching and learning sessions in which all members of the group are respected and able to participate, and develop course objectives using effective course and lesson plans designed to monitor learners progress. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a qualification or be able to demonstrate a professional background in the field of Furniture Restoration. You ll have an excellent knowledge of upholstery and recycling furniture - knowledge of measuring, cutting and sewing all types of fabric and leather is desirable. You ll be able to communicate effectively at all levels and have an excellent level of computer literacy.
